Engineered as a heavy-duty, road-following assembly, it integrates serrated cutting teeth along the front edge to maximize penetration on ice. Its NORDOX™-grade serrations allow each section to shear, fracture, and lift compacted ice and snow from the pavement.

Meet the Nordik Defender — a strengthened carbide blade engineered for unbeatable durability. Traditional carbide blades work great, but their Achilles’ heel is impact. Since carbide is brittle, it can crack or chip when hitting manholes, bridge joints, or other obstacles. The Defender solves that by encasing the carbide inserts in our robust Nordox500 shield for maximum protection.

Each blade integrates cast Ni-Hard segments welded to a 3/4" steel backing plate, providing significantly increased wear resistance compared to conventional blades. Available in 55° (one-way) or 70°(wing) configurations, with multiple lengths to match your plow setup.
